ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from 148 countries. The intent of ISO certification is to better document practices and procedures, which in turn should lead to more uniform and consistent production processes, as well as improved quality procedures. The United States Patent and Trademark Office have awarded Armor Lid a new patent for its TriPlex Design ABS tonneau cover. This 3 layer design has a smooth top, a support beam structure in the middle, and a smooth bottom. This design provides a rugged, strong cover capable of having over 1000 lbs placed on top of it, without all the unsightly beams noticeable underneath.
